Court Advocates
Court Advocates assist with obtaining court orders, and are available to accompany victims to court hearings. The Court Advocate provides guidance to individuals who are unfamiliar with the courthouse and its procedures. The Court Advocate assists victims by explaining the court process, courtroom etiquette, proper dress and proper courtroom procedures.
A Court Advocate is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist with filling out the forms, filing the Protective Order with the Court Clerk’s Office and
attending the Emergency and Final Protective Order Hearings.
The Court Advocate is also available to attend court hearings with the victims. Please contact the YWCA of Enid at 234-7581 for more information
