Current Needs

Personal care items Crisis Center & Halfway House clients: Lotion, shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, mousse, styling gel, deodorant, mouthwash, disposable razors, hair brushes, large bars of soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes,  curling irons, hairdryers and feminine hygiene products (tampons and pads)

Items needed for YWCA playrooms:  (6 mos. To 12 years old)
Large and medium trucks, cars, trains, airplanes, Dolls and Doll clothes, Puzzles for games for toddlers, preschoolers, and young school age, Baby toys (manipulative or musical), toy telephones and toy kitchen items, Play Dough and kitchen-like items for playing with Play Dough, Craft items for age 3 and up (no crayons), dry erase markers and colored chalk, Large blocks, play people and play farm animals, sea creatures, wild animals, Dress-up clothes, Nerf balls (various sizes).

Clothing: New adult and children underwear, pajamas, bras, kids and teens clothing, socks, shoes, training pants, maternity clothing, newborn clothing, coats

Household Items: Beds, Tables, Chairs, Dressers, Desks, Bookcases, Microwaves, Coffee Makers, TVs, VCRs, dishes, pots & pans

Cleaning supplies: Laundry soap, dryer sheets, dish soap, all purpose disinfectant cleaner, bleach, glass cleaner, SOS pads, Lysol spray, bathroom cleaner, brooms, mops, dust pans, large black trash bags (contractor kind), small white trash bags (30 gallon)

Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner’s closet: New  underwear, bras, sweatpants, knit shorts, t-shirts, and sweatshirts (any size), New stuffed animals

Baby items: Clothes, Diapers (ALL SIZES), Desitin ointment, teething gel, teething rings, sippy cups, bottles, pacifiers, baby wipes, formula, baby food

Crisis Center room supplies: Pillows,  pillow cases, alarm clocks, 9 volt batteries (for smoke detectors), AA batteries, 60 watt light bulbs, dish towels, bath towels, pot holders, pots and pans, dishes, floor rugs, fans, twin and full sized sheets and comforters, coax cables (for tvs), VCR’s

Food Items: Saltine Crackers, juice, canned soup, pasta, condiments, peanut butter, jelly, cereals, Bread, Milk, eggs, butter, meat

Medical supplies: Aspirin, Tylenol, Tums, Baby Tylenol Drops, children’s chewable Tylenol, cough drops, Neosporin, allery/sinus medication, Band-aids, sterile gauze pads, medical tape, cough syrup (adult and children and nonalcoholic), Pepto Bismol, Kaopectate, Fletchers laxative (child), vitamins and any daytime and nighttime cold medicine for children and adults

Children’s Art Supplies: Durable toys for all ages for playroom, sketch pads, clay, water colors, tempera paint, brushes, large crayons, scissors, glue, colored pencils, chalk, large drawing pads
